Flashlink Mobile Bluetooth Pairing

I have not yet been able to use my new Flashlink Mobile as it does not show up as an available Bluetooth device upon plugging it into an OBDII port. The light flashes green but BT scanning from two different phones does not find it - the phones see eachother and other BT devices in range. Is there something I am missing? Thanks.

EVO-ONE + THAR-ONE-SUB1 for 2018 CrossTrek

I just purchased a 2018 CrossTrek Premium regular key with EyeSight. Just want to verify that the EVO-ONE with the THAR-ONE-SUB1 T Harness is compatible with the new model year and the 2017 wiring information from this website will work.

EVO-ONE - Worked fine for about two weeks - Then no longer sends gnd outputs

Installed EVO-ONE in a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek PTS. Worked fine for a couple of weeks then noticed that unit no longer honked the horn nor flashed the park lights - all (-) outputs and connected as per installation guide. Swapped out with another module and everything is fine again and has been a couple of weeks since replaced and no further issues. Took the malfunctioning unit and tried it on another vehicle to test - a 2012 Toyota Tundra. Unit flashes and programs fine but will still not send (-) to flash parklights or honk the horn. Also, it will not detect the brake input to allow the programming of a Fortin 2-way RF Kit. Tried it several times with no luck. I think the unit went bad somehow but if there is anything else I can try, please let me know. Thanks, Chad

EVO-ALL - "Died" after flashing/programming - No LEDs/No Longer Connects

EVO-ALL - "Died" after flashing/programming - No LEDs/No Longer Connects Updated a brand new EVO-ALL that came as part of a EVO-FORT1 kit to install into a 2015 Ford F250 pickup. After flashing and setting options/saving I connected it to the truck to program and no LEDs came on. Tried connecting back up to the updater, but it will not connect. Tried holding the programming button to do the normal reset but it shows no sign of life - Checked the connection pins and all seems fine. I grabbed another EVO-ALL I had on hand and proceeded to flash and program that unit without any issues. Could this be a bad unit that just suddenly died? I've never seen this happen.

Wiring/Programming EVO-ONE w/ DSM300 SmartStart (2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek PTS)

Installed a EVO-ONE into my 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek w/ Push-to-Start. I have no issues with the remote starter, bypass, locks, etc. Everything works great with a Fortin 2-way RF kit - which I am still temporarily using until I figure out how to get my DSM300 Smartstart to work. I didn't find the Smartstart guide particularly useful in regards to wiring it up to the EVO-ONE for my application. I had programmed the remote start to XL202 and grounded the gray D2D mode cable as per the Fortin guide. Can someone clarify if I am to use the white D2D connector that is included with the Smartstart's multi-connector harness and does it plug into the larger antenna port? Or do I need to make up a cable to go to the black Fortin Data-Link/Flashlink Port? Do I assume that I will have to power the Smartstart separately using its own 2-wire harness w/ 3-Amp fuse since the EVO-ONE isn't providing 12-Volts from the data ports? If so, do I remove the 12V power on my connection back to the EVO-ONE? I tried powering them separately and just leaving the data wires + ground, but I could not pair the Smartstart to the EVO-ONE; I sent a lock command which the Smartstart app said was successful during the pairing process as per the instructions I found, but I couldn't get the EVO-ONE to acknowledge the signal to pair the Smartstart. I hope someone can steer me in the right direction. Thanks - Chad

2007 Avalon PTS w/ EVO-ALL - How to disable auto lights?

Just installed an EVO-ALL on 2007 Toyota Avalon w/ Push-To-Start (Smart Key). Installed in accordance with guide # 57231 REV: 20151023. Added connections for door lock/unlock and hood pinswitch. Remote starting and door locks work properly. Is there a means of disabling the Toyota "Auto Lights" when using the EVO-ALL in this configuration? (Break auto light wire, door pin trigger, etc.?) I tested the second unused set of relay contacts and they apparently aren't enabled for the task as they do not break contact on the N.C. on shutdown. Thank you for your assistance. - Chad
