2016 Dodge Challenger, EVO-ALL w/ CHR6, now throwing U0415 Check Engine Light

As Title indicates, post installation the client is getting a CEL U0415. It happened to me after programming but I cleared it and figured it was a fluke. According to him, per his Dodge dealer, they have seen this happen with aftermarket remotes starts and also stereos on the Challenger. Any suggestions other than rolling back firmware? When tapping for 12V ignition I grabbed the incorrect wire first time around. It was pink/wht but didn't give 12V with IGN. The snake shows Pin 27 OR 31 at BCM, plug E. 27 was the wrong one, 31 was hardly pink/wht, more pink/yel but did give 12V with ignition.

Programmig not working stuck at step 9

i have double and triple checked my wire connections but when i try to program my THAR-CHR6 and when i get to step 9 the light will not change from Red to blue. I have attempted this multiple times and have followed all the steps so i am lost and really could use some help. Could it be an issue with my unit or is there a trick to this i am missing. I am installing on a 2013 Dodge Journey Push button ignition. *Update* I had intially started i had updated my Evo to the most recent firmware not in beta. I downgraded to 74.22 and was able to get to the next step where the blue light would come on but it would not flash. Flashed it again to a higher FW believe 74.25 but same thing blue light doesn't flash. Otherthing i noticed is on the ODBII port guide says the CAN high wire is brown but there are no brown wires on that harness. The CAN low matches the yellow though.

2016 challenger check engine light on after 3x remote start

I have evo chart6 installed into my 2016 challenger and now only on remote start 3x lock, i get a check engine light, no code comes up when checked? I can start car with push button and the check engine light is not on. What is the fix? I read on another dodge check engine light problem it was noted to flash with 74.18 Will this fix the problem? I have flashed unit to 74.18 but I still need to know an answer as my son will put the unit in his car and I will need to know before I give it to him. thanks Steve

MUX relay required on challenger?

Two issues, maybe related to the same answer. Installed EVO-with CHRT-6 in standalone mode, honk 3x's. When using the remote start it triggers a check engine light, pulling the code indicates the Brake Module is detecting a signal when it should not., 0415 antilock brake invalid signal I am assuming this has to do with the MUX wire. Does the push to start challenger 2016 up require a mux relay? Can I follow the same wiring as mentioned in another thread? Next, just to confirm vehicle take over. When using remote start about 15 minutes after driving, the car rolls the drivers window down partially, turns on the interior lights and dispalys a door open chime and popup on screen. It is very consistant at 15 minutes which i know is the run time for my module. I am wondering if what I am doing is wrong for vehicle take over, or if the mux/check engine light are related to this issue. Currently, honk three times, car starts, after running a bit I enter the vehicle, note has touch sense doors to unlock, i put my foot on the brake, put in drive and go. Fifteen minutes later the car does above as discribed.

Which installation procedure to use, and why?

When installing EVO-CHRT6 in 2017 Dodge Journey with Push to start should installer use "Regular Installation" (12131) or "Standalone Installation" (12211). I believe this application will use regular as the EVO will be used by itself without another aftermarket starter.

2013 Dodge Ram 1500 CAN'T PROGRAM KEY DATA INTO EVO-CHRT6 (STEP 5)

Fortin EVO-CHRT6 preloaded with 74.22 build date 12/16  Installed with a T-Harness, checked wire taps with continuity, purchased the Flashlink Updater 2. Unable to get to red light from yellow in step 5 to recognize the key, I insert the key into the ignition and nothing happens (light remains yellow). Checked my lt blue wire and lt blue/black wire connections. Tested the CAN-Bus by releasing on blue and turning on the key, and the blue light flashed. Pressing lock/unlock on my remote makes the blue light flash, and when I turn on my key, the blue light stays on. After all that I updated version to recommended 74.27..reprogrammed in vehicle and still not getting red light. Do I need to run the DCryptor prior to programming in vehicle? Thanks for your help.

Can't program key data into EVO-CHRT6 (Step 5)

Fortin EVO-ALL installed on a 2014 Dodge Dart. I did the install with a T-Harness, and purchased the Flashlink Updater 2 as well. I hooked everything up, and began to program the module. When I get to step 5 to program the key, I insert the key into the ignition and nothing happens. The red light does not illuminate, and the yellow light stays on. I've done a bit of research, and I have checked my lt blue wire and lt blue/black wire connections, and even checked for continuity through the t-harness connectors and I have continuity through the harness. I also tested the CAN-Bus by releasing on blue and turning on the key, and the blue light flashed and seemed to work correctly. After programming the CAN-Bus, pressing lock/unlock on my remote makes the blue light flash, and when I turn on my key, the yellow light comes on. I just can't get my key to program into the system. Any help appreciated.

Blue LED does not flash 2014 Dodge Charger SE Step 10 turns off when PTS pushed Can Hi/Lo OK...Brake?

I have been through the programming steps 3 times. Was somewhat confused as to whether I should push on the brake (as in "hold down brake and push button to start" for normal starting) during programming steps so I tried both ways. Both times, all goes well until step 10 of the programming sequence. With the Blue LED on solid, when pushing the start button once to turn on the ignition, the blue LED turns completely off and does not flash. I read elsewhere in the Dodge FAQ where it was suggested to connect red/green A18 wire to brake pedal wire, but in my install guide (#12211 - Stand Alone for CHRT6 with T Harness for Automatic Trans Only), the connection diagram says to connect wire A18 to the parking light switch wire which is how I have it. Just to note, when I do not press the brake pedal during programming, the car goes to run position, but does not actually start whereas when I do press the pedal, it does. This seems to have no effect either way on the situation with Blue LED (behavior is same either way). I have double checked and can-bus hi/lo wires are correct and not reversed. Hardware version is 6, firmware is 74.25. Thanks for any advice you may have!

2012 Dodge Journey Resistor

I am going to be installing an EVO CHR6 in a 2012 Dodge Journey push to start and have a couple questions because the instructions are not real clear. I am using it as a stand alone remote start with a crime stoppers RF kit. It looks like I need to install a resistor for parking lights, do I just install this in line or do I need to use a relay as well? Also I see on the diagram 2 wires for door locks and one for external start/stop input. Are these wires that need to be connected for this type of install? There is no other information about those connections.

Why do I get a 'Lights on' indicator when entering the car?

I just installed an EVO-ALL with CHRT6 harness in a 2013 Dodge Journey wih Push-to-Start. Everything works fine except for that whenever I open the drivers door to get in the car, whether I started it with the 3x or not, I get a warning on the dash indicating that I left my lights on. It does not matter if I have the lights in the off position or in Auto mode. Once I close the door, the indicator goes away. When I exit the car, I do not receive this message. Has anyone seen this before? My service # is 001A06 348641.
