Resistor required for parking lights at BCM on 2015 RAM

Per the instructions for 2015 RAM it says to tap into the connector at the headlight switch for the parking lights output and add a 1k ohm resistor. I previously had a different remote start module where i tapped into the parking lights output at the BCM and it didnt require a resistor. Can i tap into the bcm for the parking lights output with the EVO-ALL and if so do i still need to add the resistor?

2013 ram 1500 evo-all harness parking light issues.

Everything seems to be working fine except when i connect the brown/white wire to pin #1 of the headlight connector I get the all of the lights on. does the evo-all send voltage, ground ?? what should I be reading with my meter on the brown/white ?

2012 Ram Door Locks Go Crazy, Lights Flash

2012 Ram with the CHRT4 installed. Programmed successfully and remote starts but it will randomly lock/unlock and the parking lights will flash without the keyfob being pressed. Reprogrammed the evo without a problem, but still didn't fix it.

2011 Dodge Ram 1500 gas. Do you clean some of the wire sheath off of the white wire at the light switch to be able to solder the 1 K OHM resistor on? Not sure what to do!!!

2011 Dodge Ram 1500 gas. Does the white wire at the vehicle's light switch need to be cut then connected to the 1K OHM resistor and then connected to the harness brown/ white wire. What do I do with the exposed white wire that is left hanging? Do I tape it off?
