New registration of a RF-442 kit on an installed EVO-ONE with THAR-TOY8 kit

I have followed the intruction to the letter, but the problem i run into is that to set the remote programming mode, you have to press the antenna button 5 times, hit the brake, then use a programmed remote to click the lock button (mode 1)... but I don't have a programmed remote, because it's a new install. How am I supposed to use a programmed remote to enter remote program mode when I have brand new remotes that need programmed? I have the EVO-ONE programmed to use the antenna remote, and it is also flashed to use the OEM remote, which is working perfectly. I just want the extended range because the OEM range is NO bueno BAD. Vehicle is 2018 Toyota Corolla LE with H-key

No horn chirp evo one 442 rf kit with a 2017 Tacoma H key ?

Everything works great on this evo one 442 kit, the rf remotes give an audible signal at lock, unlock, and start, and it works very well...but there is no audible horn chirp from the Tacoma at all, just the normal flashing parking lights , but no horn chirp. Is there a setting I'm missing on the bypass or remote side ?

ftx 64 remote will not unlock 2013 f150

Ive installed the evo all with the t-harness and the ftx 64 remote. I can remote start the truck with the fortin remote. The module locks the doors after the remore start. It monitors the door pin. It will shut the truck down with the fortin remote. I can un lock the doors with the fortin remote but the truck will not lock with the fortin lock button. It arms the factory alarm but does not move the locks.

FTC 64-2 with EVO-One in a Mistubishi Outlander - Won't perform

I have a FTC64-2 Module with an EVO One. The systems seems to operate correctly with the OEM remote (3x) It is unclear if I should use the T-Harness or plug the antenna directly into the blue port on the EVO One. If I go directly into the blue port I can't seemed to get it programmed, when I get in program mode, the antenna never goes to a rapid blink. If I go into the black data port, it seems to program per the instructions, but when I hit the unlock button, it won't unlock the doors, but the blue light on the Evo One will blink once. The remote seems to give confirmation with a green light, but the doors don't unlock, lock or get a remote start.

evo-one THAR-ONE-MAZ3 RF KIT PROGRAMMING ERROR

2014 Mazda 3 Automatic push to start. Using Guide #68451 for remote programming

I successfully installed the EVO-One with T-harness and the car starts with oem remote with no trouble. However, I am attempting to install the RF642W kit with no success.  When I plug the antenna into the Evo one it will briefly flash blue but then wont illuminate again under any circumstance. I can put the module in and out of valet mode with 3 presses however if I hold the valet button when the ignition is turned on, I don’t get a horn/chirp like the quick installation guide suggests and thus can’t complete step 2 of the programming process. The evo-one and rf kit are new and have not been paired with other devices. Any help as to where i am going wrong would be appreciated

Evo one sucsessfully installed using guide#68261

Can't get evo1 to remote start

I installed an evo1 on a 2001 Nissan Maxima and I put a crimestopper RF-ALL-641W rf kit on it and I followed the programming for the fobs and they seem to program according to the blinking light on the rf receiver but it doesn't want to remote start. Is there a selection that I need to change with the flashlink?

Evo One Cannot Go Into Programming or Valet Mode

My Evo One will not go into programming or valet mode for me to program the RF642W remotes. The key bypass is programmed, but that is the only thing that the unit will do. Is there a way to check if the remote starter side is functionally where I can get the parking lights to flash or the horn to honk?

RF-2W803-SS with evo one not programming

I am using the included ft-d100 adapter that came with Compustar RF-2W803-SS. I grounded and connected the 12v adapter. I went through the steps in the programming guide. Turn ignition to on position, press and hold valet button until horn chirps, press valet button 1x, press brake 1x, press lock button on remote, press brake 1x, turn off ignition.

I did not modify the 4-pin connector at all. The 4-pin connector has the white and blue wires crossed like suggested.

Is there another way to program the rf kit?

EVO ONE programming light blinking and other questions

So I got my EVO-ONE connected to my 2009 Mazda 5 with a FTX 44 2w remote. I was able to remote start it once and that was it. Along with that, I have some other concerns 1. When I try the remote start, the remote flashes green like it is going to go. The EVO-ONE programming light on the back flashes 4 times, which may indicate valet mode according to the guide, but the yellow LED isn't on. EDIT: Just tried turning off valet mode for kicks and now it works. Does the yellow LED not stay on when in valet mode? 2. No blue lights when locking or unlocking. Is that an issue? 3. The doors try to unlock twice when I push the unlock button. There is a pause of about half a second in between 4. I can only unlock the drivers door. A second unlock press does not unlock the rest of the doors Otherwise I think I got it. Thanks for all of your help with this!

2007 Toyota Tundra Fortin FR642W Remotes Not Programming

I've installed the Fortin Evo-One onto a 2007 Toyota Tundra. Entering programming mode using the valet button is fine; however, the remote antenna seems to not be able to receive the remote's signal and program it. Which port would this antenna go in? Everything has power and the key bypass is already programmed to the vehicle. The only program is that the antenna is not registering the remote's signals into the Evo-One.

evo one and rf642w scion iq

Bought for remote start and wire up using the manual for "G" key of which is only one. Keys have absolutely no markings on them. Find out car does not have immobilizer. Don't think evo-one is getting programmed as the led's don't do as they should in steps 4 and 5. Could not get programmed for factory remote. Bought the rf642w kit and still no go. Everything is extremely vague about any programming and have tried numerous different ways. Knowing that there is no factory security I'm trying to use system for remote start and alarm functions.

Is it true that the EVO-ONE must be put in valet mode before programming 1WAMG6 and have firmware .96 only?

I tried calling Fortin tech support to no avail. Firstech RF Kits enabled on Remote Start via FlashLink. Unit responds to all programming cues as it should: Key on, press and hold valet button- red light blinks rapidly- Press and release valet switch once- press brake pedal once press lock on Compustar remote - no response I receive parking light confirmations throughout the entire process indicating the unit is responding to my inputs, however it will not learn the remotes. I tried programming in mode 5 also as indicated in the Fortin Guide "25121" Installed with RF converter. This is the second such installation I have performed, I had to completely abandon the EVO-ONE install the first time and install a Compustar remote start with an EVO-ALL for the customer. I really like the idea of using the EVO-ONE and really like all the Fortin Products. SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE THE MYSTERY OUT OF THE WHOLE RF KIT MYSTERY. It is really frustrating to put out such an innovative product yet Fortin has so little disclosure as to EXACTLY which RF Kits are compatible with this unit and not leave it up th the manufacturer of the RF Kit to decide whether it is compatible with your product! You have a great product here but your screwing it up by being so unhelpful about how to add an RF Kit, you really need to revise your "supported RF Kits" idea of tech support.
