Why do the headlights remain on after unlocking the car with RF remote?

2015 VW Passat 1.8L automatic Evo ALL service #: 001A06 827883 RF remote model FTX64-2W I installed this kit in 2018 and this is the first time that noticed that my headlights would stay on after unlocking the car with the RF remote. Sceneario: I used the RF remote to unlock my car last night, the car unlocked and the head lights and tail lights turned on, I opened and closed the door and left the car unlocked overnight. This morning I saw the lights were still on and the battery is almost dead. The headlight knob was in AUTO. If I lock the doors with the remote, the healights will turn off after a short delay. Is there a way to prevent the lights from staying on in this sceneario or even in other situations that I am not aware of that will keep the lights on with the car off? Thank you!

2016 Lexus IS200t auto headlights not working after Evo One install

*FIXED: leave option 7 to None on remote starter side I have the Evo One installed with the THAR-TOY6 T harness. After the installed the auto headlights do not work anymore even when pitch black outside. I have also noticed that the remote start would take 4x lock to remote start. The red LED inside the Evo One will be lit up and the 1 lock will turn it off then the RS will start the car. The biggest issues it the auto headlights. I even added the optional push start wire so install was done to the letter from the instructions. On my trip tonight I .noticed after 20 mins or so the center console light will turn off like of the headlights were off but the headlights were still on actually. It's almost like park light were switched off. Please advise

Remote start not working and door chimes with lights off!?

Everything was working after Rob helped me out programming the remote start side of the unit for manual transmission. Was cleaning up the install and must have unplugged the unit the wrong way. Now the car won’t crank again, and ready mode works up until the last step which is relocking the car after door closes and car shuts down. I have relock enabled on both sides of the unit, tried reflashing and changing different options with no luck. On top of that now my door chimes with the parking lights hooked up and it didn’t do that before and all my lights are off. The headlights don’t give any diagnostic flashes either. Using t-harness and correct guide.

Auto headlights doesn't turn off

I just installed the Fortin Nist1 on my 2011 Infiniti G37 everything went well but I got one problem with auto headlights. If I have it in the OFF position everything works fine starts and shuts off fine and even the parking lights turn off. But if I have it in the AUTO position the parking light and headlight doesn't turn off. I know I got the correct door pin wire because I used a circuit tester. So my question is why does the parking lights turn off with the position on OFF but the parking light and headlight doesn't turn off with the AUTO position.

2011 Toyota Camry standard key headlights stay on

I have a 2011 toyota camry standard key with Evo-one. Everything works correctly except if I kill the engine with the remote, or if it times out after15min the headlight stay on and will not ever turn off.

2017 Ram Flashing headlights on and off when tip start key turned to on.

Fortin remote start installed and working in my 2017 Ram 5.7l with Tip start key. Headlights flash on and off three times after OEM remote key inserted and turned to on position. Is there a setting to stop the headlights flashing on and off at people. I have the extended range remotes also installed and working.

2017 Accord "Auto" headlights, Door lock/unlock. EVO-ONE

i am looking forward to installing the EVO ONE with T-Harness in my 2017 Accord CVT Standard Key. i keep my car's headlights set to "Auto" i know the headlights will turn on automatically if i remote start the car BUT, will the lights automatically turn off if the remote start timed out or if i turned off my car with the remote? 2.can the EVO-ONE be programmed to press unlock once to unlock all doors? 3.will my car's door auto lock/unlock when i turn the key in the ignition ON or OFF? 4.will the EVO-ONE need to be re-programmed if my car battery dies or the car battery gets disconnected?

Mazda 6 headlights work on AUTO only

I have EVO-ONE-MAZ3 installed in my 2017 Mazda 6 Touring/Push to start automatic. Headlights wiring was done according instruction manual. Somehow my headlight became always ON, regardless switch position. I disconnected EVO from headlight, nothing changed. Put back and left it as is. Today, I found out that only AUTO works. So the thing is that manual mode doesn't work at all and it was affected bu the EVO module. Is there any specific feature in EVO programming which corresponds to headligh switch?

Installed Evo-gmt4 Everything works except my auto headlights are turning off randomly driving at night Any suggestions?

2011 Chevy Silverado LS. Brown/white a14 is wired to the 2nd white BCM connector lt blue Pin#8. Parking lights come on when remote started and go off as they should when key is put in the run position and brake is depressed. Headlights work completely fine for a couple minutes and then just turn off while driving with them in auto. I have a14 turned on in flashlink manager.

2016 Dodge Grand Caravan Headlight Switch Issues.

I installed the EVO-CHRT4 unit in my 2016 Grand Caravan with no issues, but now my Headlights are always on when the car is running. The Headlight Switch does not work and does not even light up as it should at night. My install was just the T harness with no additional modifications. Never even touched the Headlight Switch. Any idea what's going on? All help is greatly appreciated.

Headlight Indicator Always On

I updated to the 1.23 firmware the other day and since updating to it, I've noticed that my dashboard headlight indicator doesn't turn off. My headlight light switch does not have an 'auto' position and is turned to the 'off' position, but the dashboard thinks the headlights are on and displays the green 'headlight indicator light'. I also noticed that the dashboard lights are dimmer, as if they headlights are on. I checked and even though the headlight indicator and dashboard thinks the headlights are on, they are off at the switch and at the headlight itself. So the headlights are still controlled by the switch but just the dashboard thinks differently. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this issue?

2006 G35 coupe intelli-key auto headlights does not turn off

I have a 2006 G35 coupe automatic with intelli-key. I also wired a RS7-G5 to my EVO-ALL. After I remote turn off the car and lock it with the RS7-G5 it doesn't shut down the headlights if I leave them on auto. They simply stay on. If I turn the car off and lock it with my intelli-key the headlights shut off after 40 seconds, as expected when they're set to auto.

I connected the wiring just as in pic below however the 'At Driver Door Pin' I do not have a white cable in my G35 as the diagram shows. I also attached a picture of the connector that I have. So instead of connecting the lt blue/black to a white cable I connected it to my yellow cable however same results, auto lights stay on after remote shut off and lock. If I don't connect the At Driver Door Pin wire to anything same result as well.

It only happens when I use the remote start. The automatic lights turn on, off, on, off and on again. I have the t harness.

Evo one t harness g key when headlights are in auto after remote starting with 3x lock and the timer runs out vehicle shuts of and no one enters the vehicle. the headlights stay on.

Evo All Lock/Unlock/Trunk rapidly flashing all lights when pressed on 2005 G35

I have my EVO ALL installed alongside a Crimestopper RS7 remote start kit, and for some reason, whenever I press the lock, unlock or trunk release button, and my lights are on, it will not flash the parking lights, but instead, it will flash my Xenon headlights, fog lights, and whatever else is turned on rapidly for about 2 seconds. I don't have my parking lights physically wired up, so this is being done entirely through CAN. I'm just wondering if this is a bug, or if there is a way to disable flashing the lights, or if anyone knows anything else! **Something worth noting is that I have the Canadian version of this car, with Auto headlights and daytime running lights. This might be the cause of the problem, but I don't know how to fix it. Thanks!

grinding and re cranking after remote start, cannot sustain power.

after remote starting the car, engine cranks again at times and grinding, headlights on and off because the engine cannot sustain the start up.

2011 Altima Auto-headlights never turn off with remote shutdown with OEM remote

Hi, I just recieved my EVO-NIST1 and I'm loving it! The only two issues I have are: 1) Auto headlights never turn off if I remote shutdown and don't open the doors. I have confirmed that the door pink/black wire is connected by remote starting in the car then pressing the brake. The engine shuts off. It doesn't do this if I open the door before pressing the brake. 2) Doors don't relock when remote shutdown is engaged. I have to press lock a 4th time on my OEM remote to lock the doors and arm the alarm.

2010 Tundra auto headlights stay on

I have my headlights set to auto function. In this function the headlight won't turn off until the driver door is open. Everything is working perfectly. Last week I noticed a small issue with the remote start and my headlights. I started the vehicle and planning to go to the store. It was dark out so the headlight turn on. One thing let to another I didn't go and totally forgot that I started the truck. When i was ready to go about 30 mins later, the truck is already off because 15 mins run time but the headlights was still on. I also noticed on guide #18211 for tundra with G-key, there are the D1 & D3 connection to (-) Autolight. Is that the connection I need?
