Cant program '15 Kia Optima PTS

I have everything wired on my '15 KIA Optima Push to Start. When i go to program i get to the step where i push the button 7 times. The red LED never flashes 10 times and the blue never comes on after. When I hard wired CAN1 CAN2 wires, the wire diagram shows it connected to a wire in a harness in the driver side kick plate. But there are 2 wires in each pin in the harness. (2 white/orange wires, 2 white wires). DO i have to splice to BOTH of the wires in each pin placement? Or will connected to only 1 work? This is the only thing i can thing of why i can not get mine to program.

2009 Kia Optima - EVO-ONE - Unable to acquire Can Bus data - Blue LED does not flash

2009 Kia Optima w/ Standard Key. EVO-ONE with T-Harness and latest Firmware. No PATS (No Immobilizer). Using Guide #60931 and Program #2 (Vehicle without PATS data wire). I've tried everything, and cannot acquire the Can Bus data. Blue LED goes off instead of flashing rapidly when key is turned to the on/run position, and comes back on solid when the key is turn off. I've double and triple-checked all wiring. All connections are soldered and pass continuity checks. Yellow wire (A1) is connected to Pink wire (E5) on the T-Harness as shown in the Wiring Guide. OBD-II connector Pin 6 (White wire) is connected to Gray wire (C3) and measures 2.7 VDC. OBD-II connector Pin 14 (Black wire) is connected to Grey/Black wire (C4) and measures 2.3 VDC. I reversed the connections to C3 and C4 with the same results: No flashing Blue LED. Can anyone provide some guidance on what else to do to get this working? Thank you.

Can remote start timer be reset without shutting down the vehicle?

I have two questions: 1) I was wondering if the remote start timer can be reset without letting it runout (vehicle shutting down). 2) I was also wondering if there is a way to initiate the remote start timer while the vehicle is already running from a normal push-button start. This way I would not have to shut off the vehicle and restart it on remote start. Thanks.

EVO-ONE programs correctly, but 3X Lock to start does not work

Hi, I'm using an EVO-ONE on a 2013 Kia Optima SXL push-to-start. I have updated the bypass and remote starter to the latest firmware and changed a few of the options for both, but nothing that I felt would affect the expected/proper operation. Wiring: I followed the installation guide #17223, so I only used the CAN-BUS, power connector, and secondary connector harnesses. I did not use the bypass relay harness at all. This was kind of confusing being that the wirecolors guide mentions a few of the wires from that harness, but nothing is mentioned of the bypass relay harness in the Fortin guide. As a result, I left it out and assumed the Fortin guide was the "master" guide. I did not connect the valet button. I cut the yellow wire for "automatic transmission mode" and swapped the fuse for a 5 amp. Operation: I programmed the unit with success following the instructions. I received correct feedback from the unit. I also tested some other things like turning on the ignition and have a yellow light. I also receive a blue light whenener I push the lock button on the fob. I am not able to create a situation where the red light comes on. I'm not sure if that is correct or not. I believe that is associated with ground (good or bad) and when the unit is running (after start). Problem: When I press the lock button 3x, my car responds as it would without the EVO-ONE installed, but does not start or do anything giving signs that it is trying. I'm expecting it may have something to do with either the bypass relay harness, settings, or possibly a master reset with different firmware. I'm anxious for feedback. Thanks.

EVO-ONE 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid

Disclaimer - I am not an installer. I am however highly skilled with electronics thanks to my service in the military. I don't know everything so I'm asking for assistance as Fortin Tech Support seems to be extremely busy. I have an actual question at the bottow of this long description. I'm installing an EVO-ONE into my 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid PTS. The diagrams provided by Fortin were very clear. I did all my research prior to the installation. I then labeled all my cables, flashed the bypass and remote starter to the version specified in the documentation. The configuration required from my car is basically default settings with option D4 enabled. I also enabled C1 as I am using the OEM remote. On the remote-starter, I have enabled the 3x lock for the OEM remote. I tapped and wire wrapped all my connections, then soldered them and covered the connecitons with electrical tape. I went through the whole programming process which is surprisingly easy. I received the flashing red and blue indicating successful programing of the KEY and CAN. Testing the OEM key fob, I was able to lock/unlock and open the trunk. The car starts normally and drive normally. When I tried the 3x lock, I see each lock received by the EVO by the flashing blue led each press. The Red led comes on and the car attempts to start. The parking light flash twice and the yellow led comes on. However, the car is NOT running. The Optima Hybrid should show a Green READY light on the dash, as well as all the various indicators should go out. The car is behaving as though the PTS button was pressed twice without the brake pedel leaving it with the accessories turned on but not running. After upgrading/downgrading various firmware. Talking with tech support and trying numerous options I am at an impass. What I have concluded is I did something wrong on the wiring. Retracing my steps I found that I questioned with the ignition connections from the EVO. QUESTION On the Optima I'm using A1 and E5 (+) to the ignition on the car. What isn't clear is if I should be TAPPING the ignition on the car ( I spliced the A1/E5 together and then tapped the ignition) OR should I be interrupting the ignition (say cutting the ignition wire, connecting one side to A1 and the other to E5). Is this any concern? Am I on the right track?

2012 Kia Optima Push-to-Start

I have the evo-all with latest firmware and in D2D mode to an Avital 4003L. I would like to use the OEM FOB to remote start the vehicle.

Can I just turn on option 14 for OEM remote monitoring and not have to use the activation input wire on the remote start system?  Or do I need to have that activation input wire on the remote start hooked up to something like the door lock wire?

Fortin evo all stopped working on my 12 optima with push to start

I had fortin evo all with viper 5901 installed and it worked fine for a while. Then the car wasn't able to detect the OEM key in the car and i had removed the unit and updated the bypass module. After the update, the car no longer turns over with the remote starter. It cranks but doesn't turn over because the bypass module isn't functioning proerly and the car doesn't think there is a key in the car. I've replaced the bypass unit with a new one and it still doesn't work and i get the same error. I've reprogrammed it when i replaced it with a new unit and i've noticed that after pressing start button twice, instead of red and blue light blinking, the red light stops blinking and only the blue light blinks continuously... what could be the possible issue?

76.10 in D2D mode - Not Supported

Did 2014 Kia Rondo yesterday w/viper brain. Evo-All would NOT lock into D2D mode. Tech support said I needed Ver 6 hardware. Everything we have is ver 6. Had problems with "brake" signal. Turned off the brake signal in the EVO and hard-wired and all was well. Need to do 2014 Optima today and it shows 76.10 firmware minimum. Without a properly working D2D mode I need to do W2W :( Please update firmware(s) to be D2D compatible! This is a Kia dealership and will be switching bypass kits to another solution that does work in D2D if no solution soon (as in a couple of weeks tops) I confirmed the D2D problem by downloading an older version of flashlink updater. When in FORTIN mode it shows up to 76.10 however when I click D2D 76.02 is the highest option. I have to assume it is with the firmware itself and not hardware or flashing problem.

My 2012 Kia Optima after it is remote started stays running for less than a minute and then it shuts itself off and restarts and runs for another minute and then shuts off again. On the dash it is saying that the key is not in the vehicle. I am using a Crimestopper DS-7 with a EVO-ALL and the Optima is a push to start non hybrid. Thanks!
