GMC TERRAIN 2017, won't start unless key is n the vehicule, config. num.1 used

Hi! I programmed the EVO ONE number of times, went through the decryptor process with success, yet, the car won't even try to start unless the key is in the car. checked my wiring over and over again, yet, can't find any info on the subject in the previously asked questions. Is the decryptor failling miserably, or the evo one I'm using is defective. Currently going crazy over here. help?

What settings for 2003 GMC Sierra Diesel - EVO ONE

Have the EVO-ONE and FLASH-LINK 4. Couple of things: 1. Want to set up for remote start with factory key (lock 3x). Do I have to add a RF-KIT to this? If not, do I have to choose one in setup? In Wizard mode, seems to force you to pick a RF-KIT. 2. Truck is a diesel. Found the Pro Mode in settings. Is there anything special regarding Tach or any other settings for diesels that I need to change? 3. The install guide recommends version 70.26. It default wants to install 70.18. When I go to look at other available firmwares, it does not offer 70.26 as an option. (70.28 is the closest). Any reason to not install the latest firmware (70.39 is the highest at the time I write this). Thanks, B

Check engine light on with codes when using remote start

Hello, installed evo-one in my wife's 2005 Yukon. directions very good with the exception of step three when hooking up E1 (+)Ignition2 - White wire & E2 (+)Accessory - Orange wire.

Identified six-pin connector to the left of the steering column. Cavities & wire guage do not correspond. Contacted associate at Chevrolet dealer, looked up schematic and confirmed/identified th following;

Cavity "A" is "Ignition 3 Voltage" - orange wire

Cavity "B" is "Right Turn Signal Switch signal" - Light Green wire

Cavity "C" is "Left Turn Signal Switch signal" - Dark Green wire

Cavity "D" is "Hazard Switch signal" - White wire

Cavity "E" is "Off/Run/Crank Voltage" - yellow wire

Cavity "F" is " Accessory Voltage" - Brown wire

Connected E1 (+)Ignition2 - White wire to Cavity "E" - "Off/Run/Crank Voltage"

Connected E2 (+)Accessory - Orange wire to Cavity "F" is "AccessoryVoltage" - Brown.

Vehicle starts and dies with the remote start and sets several body codes.

Changed connection of E1 (+)Ignition2 - White wire to Cavity "A" - "Ignition 3 Voltage" - orange wire. Every thing seems to work but still getting check engine light with remote start - up to eight codes,

Open Torque Converter clutch circuit

Shift timing solenoid

Open Torque Converter clutch pressure control solenoid circuit

O2 sensor heater circuit open

Seems I may need to jumper a voltage feed to Cavity "E" - "Off/Run/Crank Voltage"  for remote starting operation? Please advise

Regards, Bob

EVO GMT3 stuck on step 4

I can complete steps 1-3, but when I get to step 4, the part where you turn the key to the on/run position, the red light is not flashiing. The red and yellow light just stay solid the whole time. The only weird thing that isn't mentioned in the directions is that my ignition has to be turned to the on/run position for the module to turn on when I start step 1. I tried turning the key all the way to the crank position in step 4, but the lights stayed solid and the red light did not blink. So maybe the problem is that I can't start the process correctly. I am not sure what to do. Fortin EVO-GMT3 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Flashed with OMEVOFLASHLINK Edit: I just found the troubleshooting part of this site and I may have a blown fuse. I have no idea what the fuse is or where it is located. Everything electrical seems to work fine and the truck starts up and runs with no problems. Edit 2: I talked to one of the techs from the help line and he said that I probably have a bad wire harness. I checked the harnass, removed all of the unneeded wires and checked the positive and negative wires. They look good, but I replaced both of them anyway. Still no luck. Blah. Edit 3: (Yeah, I know....) It seems to me that the main problem that I have is that the module, while hooked up doesn't have a constant, always on power source. Can a hot wire be spliced into the red, hot wire to provide a constant power source, or will that cause problems with the ignition?

Cant get the truck to remote start after successful programming and dcryptor process

GMC Sierra 1500, EVO-GMT3. Blue light comes on fortin unit when I hit lock but only one time, even if I press lock 3 times. If I unlock the truck and press lock the blue light will come on the first time you press and not after that. No light shows up when you hit unlock. I have an aftermarket alarm and i'm not if I have selected the right options for evo to work.

Evo One programming key bypass. Does not finish step 4.

I had an Evo One install in my 06 trailblazer. I replaced it, and installed it on an 05 GMC Envoy XL. I did a master reset on starter and bypass, using recommended updates. When trying to program with the button pressed, I plug in the six pin connector to get to the blue led, I then plug in the remaining connectors. Turn the key to the on position the blue light go out but no other lights come on. If I turn the key back to the off position the blue light return. I'm only using all wires from the 6 pin connector. The data, the park light, the horn, the brake, and the A1 ignition wires off the 25 pin connector. And antenna and valet button connection. All wires have continuity though connector and wires. Tried a spare Evo One that had on hand, got the same results.

Where is EVO-ONE full install guide?

The Fortin website only lists: http://fortin.ca/download/21541/evo-one_ig_thr_bi_gm4_wddp_a_21541.pdf http://fortin.ca/download/59261/evo-one_ig_reg_bi_gm_silverado-sierra_2007-2014_a_59261.pdf for the EVO-ONE manuals for a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500, but these manuals are missing tons of information on most of the pins, like what output is the tach, what inputs are door lock/unlock, what is the starter input from a third party starter, etc. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Even better, maybe Fortin would want to update their website with the general manual that covers these missing connections.

Delay in starting?

I read that there is a delay in starting with the EVO-ONE and EVO-ALL because they are programmed for diesel engines, as well. Is this true? If so, can this delay be turned on? I want the ignition and start circuits energized the second the unit receives the start input.

Differences between EVO-ONE and EVO-ALL?

I'm comparing the EVO-ONE and EVO-ALL for a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500. On the comparison page, the only difference appears to be that the ONE doesn't support acting as stand-alone remote starter. However, on the general page of the ONE: http://fortin.ca/en/products/evo-series/evo-one/, it says both "remote start interface", but then is also says under Advanced Features: "Stand Alone Remote Starter". So, which is it? Also, I belive the ONE has AUX 1 and 2 outputs, but the ALL has AUX inputs. Is this true? The ONE appears to support Accessory out, but the ALL does not. Is this correct? I don't see an input on the ONE to trigger the Accessory out, so how is it used? What other differences are there?

Programming -Yellow led stays on, ignition is off. Whats it mean?

Hi, I just bought an Evo-One and the flashlink updater. Very nicely made :).   I used guide # 23261, and wired my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 (page 3) as instructed. On page 7, everything went fine up until turning the ignition off- the yellow led stays on.   I'd just like to get a clear answer as to what my options are/what I'm missing. I'm not being a pain, just would like a little help instead of being hung up on. Like- should I cut the wire loop, what does the yellow led mean, is there a certain evo-one update I should flash?   Or is guide 23261 not correct for my vehicle, a 2006 GMC sierra 1500?   Thanks a ton in advance, Nathan
