Which Start wire to use on Forester 2009 ?

I recently acquired a 2009 Forester. Using a Fortin Evo-All and a Crime Stopper RS2-G3 remote starter I cannot figure out which Start wire to use. 1) Your installation guide suggest the use of Start wires Ter 1 (White/Black) and 2 (White/Red) while the RS2-G3 connector only has one Start wire (Brown). How should I make the proper connection(s) ? 2) As well, the remote starter has two (2) Constant 12V (+) Input Red wires on its 6 pin power harness. Should both of them be connected to the RS2 (+) 12V white wire of the Forester Ignition harness ? PS. I see that on the Evo One installation you use a relay on the Start Ter 2 wire.

Wiring/Programming EVO-ONE w/ DSM300 SmartStart (2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek PTS)

Installed a EVO-ONE into my 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek w/ Push-to-Start. I have no issues with the remote starter, bypass, locks, etc. Everything works great with a Fortin 2-way RF kit - which I am still temporarily using until I figure out how to get my DSM300 Smartstart to work. I didn't find the Smartstart guide particularly useful in regards to wiring it up to the EVO-ONE for my application. I had programmed the remote start to XL202 and grounded the gray D2D mode cable as per the Fortin guide. Can someone clarify if I am to use the white D2D connector that is included with the Smartstart's multi-connector harness and does it plug into the larger antenna port? Or do I need to make up a cable to go to the black Fortin Data-Link/Flashlink Port? Do I assume that I will have to power the Smartstart separately using its own 2-wire harness w/ 3-Amp fuse since the EVO-ONE isn't providing 12-Volts from the data ports? If so, do I remove the 12V power on my connection back to the EVO-ONE? I tried powering them separately and just leaving the data wires + ground, but I could not pair the Smartstart to the EVO-ONE; I sent a lock command which the Smartstart app said was successful during the pairing process as per the instructions I found, but I couldn't get the EVO-ONE to acknowledge the signal to pair the Smartstart. I hope someone can steer me in the right direction. Thanks - Chad
