CX-3 2018 is only remote starting when I am in the vehicle

I have the evo-one with the thar-one-maz3 harness. I have cut the yellow loop. On the bypass side I have verified that options A1-A11 & C1 are enabled. On the remote starter side I have enabled 38-5 When i try lock-unlock-lock in the car, it works on the second remote start attempt. It worked on the first attempt just once and after multiple tries after that it is taking two attempts, it turns on the radio etc then turns off, then there's a horn honk, then the interior electronics turn back on and the car starts. When i try this outside of the vehicle, i just hear the horn honk twice, about 30 seconds apart, an no starting occurrs. The car is within range of the keyfob as it is reacting to each lock-unlock-lock i push (within 8 seconds). I have tried pushing the lock unlock lock one second apart, then faster, then slower. I went and sat back inside the car to verify that lock unlock lock is starting it, after its second attempt. Any ideas? I am doing the lock-unlock-lock to avoid the unneeded horn honking so having it start on the second try after a horn honk is not ideal. But again that only works when I am sitting in the vehicle. It is not starting at all when I am outside of the vehicle.

Not sure why my 2018 Mazda CX-3 is not remote starting

I have the evo-one with the thar-one-maz3 harness. I have configured the evo-one to remote start the car, but it is not working. I have set it up to use lock-unlock-lock. I have tried enabling/disabling the hood pin setting, and grounding out the pink/black cable. Not sure what the issue is. I would like to avoid splicing my lights just for diagnostic purposes.

Mazda CX-3: Looking for clarification on the decryptor process

Hi, the decryptor program simply states: follow the steps described in the programming procedure of the installation manual to sample the information from the vehicle's immobilizer system. The fortin guide I am following doesn't seem to have any details regarding this: https://cdn.fortin.ca/download/68271/evo-one_ig_thr_bi_maz3-cx9-cx3-mx5_pts_2014-2017_1key_a_68271.pdf I don't have any such details with my mazda cx-3 manual, are these instructions supposed to be included with the evo-one? i did update to the latest recommended firmware update: it looks like this similar guide for the evo-all (not the evo-one that i have) shows the steps, and it's also different in that i am looking to do a "with take over" setup. is the key bypass programming procedure the same as in this guide: https://cdn.fortin.ca/download/62871/evo-all_ig_reg_bi_mazcx3_pts_2016_h_62871.pdf ? update 2: it looks like this is also stopping my window from automatically rolling up and down all the way for the driver door, i have to hold the button. any ideas there?
