CX-5 2016, never starts on first attempt, usually 2nd one is successful but I wonder if there is anything that can fix this behaviour. Transmission is manual. Tried several solutions recommend on this site but still the same.

'21 Manual Miata cranks, but doesn't start

I own a 2021 Mazda MX5 Miata RF GT in a manual transmission. I'm using the EVO-ONE with the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 T-Harness. I've made sure to splice the white cable (Manual only) with the corresponding white pin A5 on the 20 pin connector for the clutch bypass .I've actually gone through a couple configurations and at this point, I chose to use suggested settings as well as the settings the manual insisted. I've also enabled 3x OEM lock since I want to use my own remote. So far, once I initiate the ready mode sequence, I triple click the lock button and the car cranks for a bit but doesnt start. I've been through the settings a couple of times over to check everything and its not clear to me what might be causing it. Please let me know if there is any additional wiring needing to be done or a certain setting that's causing it not to work. I'm so close to a successful start, yet so far.

We have a 2019 Mazda CX-5, Succesfully installed using EVO-ALL and T-harness, have been using 3x lock to remote start, everything was succesfully installed. but after we unlocked the car with the key attached to keyfob. the car sometimes can't detect the keyfob and won't start the car. but it also sometimes does, can't figure out exactly in which situations it detcts the key and doesnt. any ideas to solve this will be greatly appreciated!

Key Fob for Evo ONE

I have purchased the EVO One for my 2019 Mazda CX5. I am planning to use the OEM key fob to turn it on and off. But I was wondering if there's an additional FOB I can purchase to get a longer range. Or if there is any way to get a better range than what I get with the OEM FOB. Thanks!

too many decrypts for evo all

I was having troubles programming the Evo All using the one key programming guide. So, I switched and tried the 2 key programming guide. It worked, but I was not able to do a take over. So, I have been trying to get the single key programming to work. It never actually worked, so I switched back to the 1 key guide.... I didn't see until just now that it couldn't be programmed more than once with the same vehicle. So, attempting to program it both ways screwed me up? long story short - the decryptor told me I can't try any more for my vehicle. So, it needs to be reset from the server end? (it would be nice if your computer software told you what cars you had generated keys for already... then you could use them or delete them yourself.... - programmer's 2 cents)

Evo-All Mazda cx5 2018 Programmed but, won't start. Red and Yellow Leds, and clicking relay

I'm going nuts. I've tried everything multiple times and still struggling with this. Blue leds flash with every button. I am getting red and yellow leds when I try to start with 3x lock. The relay for the lights click several times. I keep reading that it should be the hood pin, but when I try jumping the pins under the hood, my car goes nuts and throws a ton of errors. I tried grounding the blue wire from the large connector on the evo-all, and then it wouldn't even attemt to work. (I disconnected that wire.) I've been through every connection several times with a volt meter checking continuity and I just can't seem to find anything to solve this. Is it in my options? I went back to the Flashlink and changed all the settings to default suggested settings. I'm getting 4 or 5 light flashes. I know the fobs are not in the car. So, it has to be hood.? Never mind, Got it... the wire I used under the hood to jump the pin was frayed a little at the end and must have been shorting on a nearby pin. I know I ran accross someone else's question with the same errors on the dash. I hope this helps. Cheers!

CX9 Starts when doors are open

I have a 2018 Mazda CX9 with the EVO ONE installed using the T harness. The vehicle starts without any issue using the OEM remote. The only concern I have is that it also starts while the doors are open and im putting my child in his car seat and I accidentally tapped lock button on the remote three times. Doesn’t the EVO ONE sense that the vehicle is disarmed and the doors are open and it should not start the vehicle?

How to reconnect programmed evo-all/I think I may have made it faulty?

So I have evo-all with the t-harness for my 2014 mazda 3 push to start auto, and I updated the firmware and then went through the programming procedure and successfully completed it, but my car did not start with the 3x lock. I then realized my safety switch was in the wrong position (shorted to ground) so I switched it back and tried and still nothing. I then thought maybe this made the whole procedure invalid since that switch was in the wrong position, so I attempted to reprogram from the start. I basically got a bunch of leds on/flashing that aren't even mentioned so I figured this wasn't going to work and then I eventually found out that I had C1 and D1 disabled in the evo-all options. I enabled them and the flash link software says its still ready to use. I'm wondering how to reconnect it, as in what led to wait for when holding the programming button, or have I messed up my evo-all by trying to reprogram and what should I do now? Thanks, Trevor

Mazda 6 2015 installation question!

I installed the Evo All into my girlfriend's 2015 Mazda 6 and I'm having some trouble. I used the guide for the one key programming and got it to program successfully, when I hit lock 3x the module red light comes on, followed by the yellow led, which stays on for a few seconds and then turns off, then the red. Then the red led comes on again, followed by the yellow, and then back off again. After this the red led flashes three times and then shuts back off. I have it hooked up with the T Harness, and everything that needs to be hard wires is hard wired per the T Harness guide. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this to work? It's acting like the module is trying to remote start the vehicle, but somewhere along the line the signal just gets cut off so the vehicle never actually cranks. Thanks for any help!

2016 Mazda CX-5 EVO-MAZT1 Programmed but does not start

We have a 2016 Mazda CX-5 GT w/Tech. I've programmed, reset, and re-programmed the module 3 times now. Hardware v6; the firmware has been updated to the latest as of today (71.34 I believe). The device is set to OEM remote standalone remote starter, 3x lock remote start, 15 minute run. It's installed and has been programmed following the instructions, #35221 Connection 1 (REMOTE CAR STARTER ONLY - DOORLOCK BY OEM REMOTE). All of the LEDs on the device match the output described in the instructions after every step except for the very end of the instructions where the red/yellow LEDs alternately blink. I pull the power on the EVO-ALL and then re-plug and all LEDs are dark until remote input. When I step away from the car (doors shut and locked) the blue LED does light up on each lock press. After three I see the EVO-ALL execute the following LED pattern: Red, long Yellow, Red, long Yellow, then three quick Red blinks. The car does not atempt to start and nothing lights up. The security indicator in the instrument cluster continues to blink. It will continue this pattern every time it sees three lock signals. When starting the car traditionally, the Yellow LED stays lit. I've read all of the posts here and elsewhere that I can find and I'm not sure what I've missed.

Why not make it clear which vehicles 3x to start is supported?

I found your products after searching the web on how to use OEM key to remote start a car.  So I decided to install one on 2010 mazda3 (non push button start).   I bought the FLASH-LINK and EVO-ALL by mistake instead of EVO-ONE, and when I realized it requires another remote start module, I called your support and was advised to buy EVO-ONE.   I asked if I can use my OEM remote to start the car with it and was told yes.   So I returned EVO-ALL and bought EVO-ONE.  And now in the middle of installation (after 4 hours), and I can not get the module to recognize my OEM fob.   SO I searched all over the web and your Q&A trying to figure out why the blue LED is not flashing when I press buttons on the fob.   NOW after spending a few hours on this issue, I came to the conclusion that this module does NOT work with the OEM key fob!   Why doesn't your web site make this clear?!   Here:  http://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/mazda/3/2010/    it should state that the OEM fob is not supported for this vehicle.  WHY DOES IT NOT SAY THAT?   After some time searching, I tried selecting another car that I knew supported 3x to start (2014 Tundra) and looked at the page for it: http://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/toyota/tundra/2014/    And what do you know!  Turns out there is a new feature listed there for 3x to start.  Wish I knew earlier that this feature was not supported for my car.   Now I can't return the EVO-ONE that I have because it has the automatic transmission loop cut now, and a few wires trimmed.  :(   Is there any chance a firmware upgrade is coming up which will let me use the OEM fob?   Thank you

Will 3X Lock Remote Starter work on '14 Mazda3 (AT) Push To Start?

I'd like to absolutely make sure this feature works on '14 Mazda3 before I buy the unit. Secondly (if it works) is my car going to shut down when I open the door, or will it give me 45 seconds to get in and push the brake? Thanks.
